On the mountain in front of the archaeological site of Hippana, between the Sosio and Vicaria valleys, rises Prizzi: a typical medieval village with its maze of alleys, alleys and stairways where you can get lost admiring the fascinating religious and civil architecture. Its historic center is a wonderful example of mountain architecture, with its houses clinging to the rock, framed by the verdant Sosio valley. Local cheeses are renowned, from primosale to aged pecorino, "u tumazzo" with a characteristic spicy and fragrant flavor.
